WinTRAK ProPAK

Call Accounting

Record call data directly from your PBX in a variety of formats for analysis and reporting

WinTRAK™ call accounting software is a powerful family of management tools. Residing as native Microsoft Windows applications, WinTRAK modules operate on stand-alone personal computers or on local area networks.

IntegraTRAK, a leader in call accounting software since its first introduction of the DOS-based TRAK-a-Dial® Call Accounting system in 1985, has designed each WinTRAK module to perform a specific call accounting function, either in conjunction with other modules, or independently as a specialty application.

WinTRAK's three ProPAK™ Call Accounting packages and the new MicroPAK call accounting solution provide the foundation of IntegraTRAK's voice and data communications network management software.

Just as with TRAK-a-Dial, WinTRAK users benefit from interactive, flexible and powerful call traffic management options, ranging from report templates with dynamic criteria filters, to a tie line reconciliation module that allows you to adjust for the multiple call records and local loop surcharges often generated with tie line services.

WinTRAK adds an array of new features and applications that will change the way you look at call accounting.

Specific WinTRAK Call Accounting capabilities allow you to:

  • Set parameters at your discretion to report long distance calls, local calls, incoming calls or all calls.
  • Analyze call activity on specific dates, or by specific switches, carriers, trunk groups, or destination numbers.
  • Survey specific calling patterns based on particular data fields, such as call duration, call costing summaries and area code summaries.
  • Compare calling patterns in summary and detail reports.
  • Allocate added costs or discounts to various departments.
  • Maintain up to seven user-defined organization levels.
  • Maintain trunk utilization records and other traffic reports.
  • Create "watchdog" call detail reports to monitor internal abuse.
  • Maintain route information for over 200 carriers with point-and-click access to time of day, directory assistance, holiday rates and more.

The packages include a full set of system utilities to manage data resources and communications with other systems. Optional ProPAK modules allow you to build in the specific capabilities you need to manage your call traffic efficiently and effectively.

WinTRAK ProPAK and Series ITS

Report Capabilities

An Interactive Elective which provides dynamic criteria filters to execute standard and custom reports

WinTRAK™ provides three basic report tools in both ProPAK™ Call Accounting and Series ITS™ Facilities Management:

  • Report Manager to select and launch specific reports
  • TRAK Reporter, a powerful stand-alone utility that enables Report Manager to operate as a minimized function
  • Batch Manager to automatically generate selected reports

Within the Report Manager , three categories of reports are available-Standard Reports, Template Reports and Template Copy Reports-depending on the WinTRAK software package you have installed.

Standard Reports are included as part of the core product in all ProPAK Call Accounting packages. With Standard Reports, a set number of fields are provided for reporting. You may select criteria (such as date range, call type, minimum cost and organization), but you cannot change the fields themselves. Template and Template Copy Reports are the two elements which comprise the TRAK Report Writer, a custom report generation offering. TRAK Report Writer is available either as an option for ProPAK II, or included as part of the basic ProPAK III and Series ITS packages.

Template Reports , with dynamic criteria filters, provide more flexibility than standard reports. These filters enable you to set conditions and sort, group or summarize data fields by a variety of methods.

Template Copy Reports are template reports that may be customized to meet your specific needs. Each report provides dynamic criteria filters. Select any combination of fields to sort, group or summarize. The resulting report can be output in a completely customized format. This enables you to create and store specific report templates with the click of a button.

Report Manager
Report Manager allows WinTRAK users to generate all reports in a simple three step process:

  • Step 1: Select a report
  • Step 2: Select the report criteria
  • Step 3: Launch the report

When you choose a report via the Report List Box, a criteria filter allows you to select specific data from the fields available for that report. Criteria filters may be based on elements such as date range, call type, and minimum cost. The type of report you select determines which fields are available.

The Report Launcher is the final window of the report generation process. Simply point-and-click to: 1) send the report to a screen, disk file or printer, 2) add it to a batch, or 3) edit the report's final appearance.

TRAK Reporter
TRAK Reporter provides the same functionality as Report Manager, but is developed specifically as a stand-alone application. WinTRAK users can click on a separate icon to run TRAK Reporter minimized in the background. This means that once reports are initiated, you can perform other Windows-based tasks while the reports continue to process.

Batch Manager
Batch Manager enables WinTRAK users to automate reporting functions. With Batch Manager, you may define a report or series of reports to be generated at the same time, in a group or "batch." Batches may be scheduled to run monthly, weekly, daily or one time only.

There is virtually no limit to the number of batches that can be created, so you may create all the batches necessary to meet the unique information needs of your complex projects.
