DANYL PLUS Accumulators control access to and account for the usage of photocopiers, facsimile machines, and similar equipment. By controlling access to this equipment as well as recording all machine activity, PLUS Accumulators help reduce usage volume and simplify departmental accounting. They also eliminate countless hours of manual calculations by replacing time-consuming, manual control methods – such as log books – with the fast and easy keypad or swipe entry of account codes and optional Machine Access Codes (MACs).

Easy-to-use Keypad-entry (KE)PLUS Accumulators are ideal for most application – as the soft-touch, 40-key keypad allows for quick input of information. Full-travel (FE) Accumulators also utilize keypad entry, nut do so using a full-motion, raised keypad. FEs also have expanded storage capacity for up to 25,000 accounts.

Swipe-entry (SE) PLUS Accumulators are ideal for use on college campuses – especially in conjunction with photo Ids that utilize either a single- or dual-stripe magnetic card. They can also be programmed to use most existing ABA-encoded ID codes, allowing them to accept cards from meal plans, door access systems, and similar applications. New standard-format cards can be programmed right on site, making it easy to add users to the system whenever necessary.

Enhanced Account Limit and Communications Capabilities

Instead of establishing one universal account limit for each controlled device, PLUS Accumulators allow each account to be placed into one of ten (10) limit classes. Limits reduce abuse – as well as assist in departmental budgeting – by restricting use of the equipment to the preset volume established for that limit class.

PLUS Accumulators feature an enhanced communications capability that allows all configuration, collection, and reporting tasks to be handled from a PC using RECAP Software. Through manual walk-up collection – or via hard-wired or dial-up modem communications, administrators can examine accounts, clear totals, or print reports from one or all Accumulators. RECAP supports up to 999 Accumulators and allows for storage of up to 25,000 unique accounts.
